Our process

Every calm-room commission follows a clear sequence from first measurement to final styling day. Timelines assume standard PPE approval where structural work is not required.

Enquiry and fit

You write to us with room dimensions, floor level, and a few daylight photos. We confirm within two working days whether the scope suits our styling focus and propose a consultation date.

If your project needs full architectural renovation, we refer you to partner studios and stay available for the calm-zone layer only.

Site visit and notes

A stylist visits for ninety minutes, records ceiling height, window orientation toward the lake or Rhône, and listens for traffic or tram noise that textiles might soften.

You receive a summary document with three layout options and indicative furniture footprints within five working days. The visit fee is CHF 320 in Geneva city.

Palette and procurement

Once you choose a direction, we develop fabric cards, lamp specifications, and a sourcing list with lead times suited to Swiss delivery. Trade pricing is passed through without markup beyond our styling fee.

Clients review samples at Rue du Rhône 42 or during a second home visit if mobility is limited.

Installation week

Furniture arrives on a agreed weekday. Two stylists place pieces, dress textiles, programme dimmers, and walk you through maintenance for linen and wood surfaces.

Most single-zone projects complete installation in one day; full rooms may span two days when custom bench cushions are steamed on site.

Aftercare

We check in by email thirty days later to adjust lamp angles after seasonal light shift. Retainer clients receive quarterly visits listed on the pricing page.
